
For the month of October, we have decided to pursue a mindfulness challenge that we’re calling ‘Happy, Healthy Mind’.
October is also Mental Health Awareness month, so we thought it was appropriate to address this very important part of our health (which goes beyond just food and exercise!).
We have printed some workbooks to fill out with your initial goals, a gratitude journal and it also features other helpful information to help you succeed during the challenge. If you are interested in helping yourself improve your mental wellbeing, please come and ask Annabelle, Angela or your Supervisor for one of the workbooks.
At Webstar, we are committed to bettering our team’s health (both physically and mentally) - and this mindfulness challenge may well indeed be a challenge for most.
Mindfulness at its core is the ability to be present and “in the moment”. Being aware of our current situation and surroundings and being free of judgement.
What’s in it for you? A reduction of stress and anxiety, and an increase in happiness.
Over the month we will take you through ways you can improve your mindfulness to help become a happier, healthier you!
