Our Challenge for December is all about Hydration (see more info here).

Here are your guidelines for keeping hydrated this month:
Overall intake should be 2.5-3L per day.
A good rule to follow is 3 bottles before 3pm to ensure you are getting your minimum.
Hydration is also your electrolyte balance as well. This means you need to keep your salts balanced with your water intake. About one pinch of Himalayan rock salt per litre of water is a good ratio to aim for.
If you are exercising or it’s a really hot day you will naturally need to account for that by drinking more water.
As you age you feel less thirsty overall, but hydration is still important so you must account for that even if you don’t feel thirsty.
Filtered and reverse osmosis water (water that is forced across a semipermeable membrane, leaving contaminants behind that are flushed down the drain) is ideal to avoid any toxins.
How does that sound, team? Any questions?
