Winter blues starting to bite - try Garlic!

I started to come down with a cold last week so tried some of Gareths advice

Raw Garlic - 1 clove every 3-4 hours, lots of hot lemon drinks (no honey) and an antihistame tablet to dry up my nose

Did that Friday - Sunday and feel way better today. Munching on raw garlic was a bit of a challenge though!!

Glad to hear you're feeling better! Well done for getting through the raw garlic!!

  • Awesone effort from these guys today. First day back in the gym after a very very long sabbatical. I'm very proud of Fialanga for taking the right steps to getting his health and fitness back on track especially after suffering some sickness and ailments that have resulted from poor nutrition and lack of exercise very recently. With the wellness program and encouragement from the webstar team I know he'll be back firing on all cylinders sooner rather then later. Then Rei who is looking to keep ontop of his fitness to ensure he keeps getting up and down the rugby field for the Waitemata Seagulls along with keeping up with his teenage son. Show him you're still the boss Rei!!!!!

There are two ways in which you can share your story with us - upload it directly to the Wellness Hub yourself, or send your story to us via email and we will upload it for you. We’ll go through “how-to” instructions for both of these methods below! But firstly, what to write? When uploading your story, pic or video, adding this really helps: Who = who are you? what's your site and role at Webstar? Why = what’s your motivation or reason for participating? Do you have any goals? How = how has this been done? What did you do to achieve this? What = what is the result? Instructions for posting directly to the Hub: Head to: https://www.webstarwell.me/forum Sign in to the forum Choose the category to upload your story to (Wellness Challenges, Exercise etc) Within the chosen category, click the blue “Create New Post” button (right-hand side of the screen) Give the post a title Type out your story in the main body Add an image (!, or video) to the story by selecting the camera icon (bottom left corner) and choosing an image from your computer When you’re ready, click the blue “Publish” button Instructions for supplying via email Write your story in a Word doc or type out the story in the body of the email Attach a photo, video or anything relevant to your story that you would like included Email this to annabelle.tyrie@webstarwell.me (or webstar.wellme@gmail.com) Thank you for sharing your story with us!
